1 September 1939 - 2 september 1945 (6 years and 1 day). Known as the Second World War, was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945, although related conflicts began earlier, It involved the vast majority of the world’s nations-including all of the great powers-eventually forming two opposing military alliances: Allies and the Axis. The empire of Japan aimed to dominate Asia and the Pacific and was already  at war with the Republic of China in 1937. The Allies established occupation administrations in Austria and Germany. The Soviet Union, despite enormous human and material losses, also experienced rapid increase in production in the immediate post-war era. Concentration camps, slave labour, and genocide.  Advances in technology and warfare. While various other dates have been proposed as the date on which World War ll began or ended, this is the time span most frequently cited.

Allied victory:

• Collapse of Nazi Germany.
• Fall of Japanese and Italian Empires
• Creation of the United Nations
• Emergence of the United States and the Soviet Union as superpowers
• Beginning of the
• Cold War.

Upon his death in 1989, Emperor Hirohito was posthumously proclaimed Emperor Shōwa. While either use is considered acceptable, his English name (Hirohito) is used here as it is this name by which he was known to most of the West during World War ll.

 How can we honor and show respect for WWII  veterans?  I think we can honor WWII by doing some kind  of  a big mural for all people can show them respect and we would be so proud for they job . Because for now on , all we can do what we do (living together)  and having families together . Also with the economic problems .
