Nursing Home Administrator
Nursing home Administrators must have a bachelor’s degree, and most hold master’s degrees in health administration or other relevant fields. Nursing home administrators are involved in the day-to-day aspects of running a long-term care facility, including admitting patients, managing the building, directing staff, budgeting, accounting, and financial planning. They work at the cross-section of the health care and business fields. To be successful, they should have skills and knowledge from both. Being able to absorb and interpret large amounts of possibly conflicting information and possessing good communication skills to help you to be effective as a nursing home administrator.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I Think I would like to be one, because being a Nursing home Administrator it would be more factible to people to being in other’s people home to administrate them. In other words it would be interesting to be one.
