Veterans Day

Veterans Day  is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918.The purpose of “Veterans Day” is  to honor and thank all military personnel who served the United States in all wars, particularly living veterans . Veterans are thanked for their services to the United States on  “Veterans Day”..Veterans Day is important to show respect and thank for the people who die on served at wars.

Veterans Day is officially observed on November 11. However if it falls on a weekday, many communities  hold their celebrations on the weekend closest to this date.The original concept for the celebration was for a day observed with parades and public meetings and a brief suspension of business beginning at 11:00 a.m .

The United States Congress officially recognized the end of World War I when it passed a concurrent resolution on June 4,1926.

Reflection:  I think that this is a good way to honor our strongs Veterans for them job. They should be alive . But they sacrificed themselves for the Unites States . “to save it and all the people around”. In other words , i think that this “ Veterans DAy” should be a good day to them honor , like fireworks and all that , like we do on other celebration. Because some of the people would think that is only Veterans Day and none of our family is in it , (we are not going to celebrate this. All of them would try to change it . And make another celebration to honor them more perfect.
